Elvira’s Paradise is only 12 minutes drive to the centre of Katherine, the 3rd largest town in the Northern Territory of Australia. Katherine is 308klms south of Darwin, Australia’s gateway to Asia. The Tourist Park in set on 79 acres of bushland, with lots of rugged landscape to explore. If you love the bush, rock climbing, swimming, the Australian Outback, Aboriginal Culture or just want to sit in the middle of nowhere and commune with nature, this is the place for you. We have caves for you to explore, the Park abounds with Australian native wildlife, close to the Katherine (Nitmiluk) Gorge, Cutta Cutta Caves, a short drive to Kakadu, within easy reach of some of the best Barramundi fishing grounds in the world and home to some of the most sought after Aboriginal Artists in the world.

 

We are developing Elvira’s Paradise with the tourist in mind. We want you to feel welcome, come and experience good old fashioned Australian hospitality. This is our home, and we love it when people come to visit us and experience the serenity of the Australian bush.
